Content Management Systems (CMS)

If you would like the ability to edit your website content then I can make that a reality. There are a lot of content management systems that allow users to change or edit their website content, the task is to find the ones that are the most capable and the easiest to use. Below I introduce two of the content management systems that I offer my clients if they are interested in editing their own website content.

Content Management Systems

One of the web services that I offer clients is the ability to update their website content using Adobe Acrobat Contribute or Wordpress. These content management systems do an excellent job at allowing you to make changes, updates and corrections to your website yourself. Each content management system has its advantages and disadvantages. After reviewing your website needs I will recommend the content management system that is right for you.

Adobe Contribute gives website owners the ability to easily update their website content using a method that is similar to using any Microsoft Office application, very few website skills are required, the application is very intuitive. The website owner is required to purchase the Adobe Contribute software and install it on their computer. Each person wanting to update the website content is required to purchase the software. Adobe Contribute is easy to use and is a very secure content management system. I assist all of my clients with installation and training of the software.

WordPress Wordpress

WordPress allows non-technical users to create and manage website content and layout, without involving any website experts. It was awarded the Overall Best Open Source CMS Award in the 2009 Open Source CMS Awards.

Every day thousands of people use WordPress to run their entire websites and communities without comprimising on usability or scalability. Through an easy-to-use user interface, users can generate a wide range of content from press releases, to product content, to news stories. And because the platform is template-based, it is easy to share, repurpose and dynamically link related content. I assist all of my clients with Wordpress training.
